Here is a short guide on adding embedded videos to your blogs or sites. We hope to add some more comprehensive details later but for now here you go. It’s assumed that you already have WordPress installed on your server and you are logged into administrator interface. You will also need Raw HTML plug-in. It lets you use raw HTML or any other code in your posts. It is reliable and included into official WordPress plug-in repository. The scope of this article doesn’t cover the plug-in installation process.

Setup

1. Go to plug-ins page and activate Raw HTML plug-in.
2. Go to Users -> Your Profile -> Personal Options and make sure that all checkboxes are unchecked.
3. Go to Settings -> Writing -> Formatting and make sure that all checkboxes are unchecked.

Posting Video

1. Go to Write -> Write Post.
2. Give it a title and put the actual post content.
3. Get the embedded video code (For Spartan Dollars: Ad Tools-> Show Ad Tools -> Embedded -> Movies -> Get source).
4. Wrap it in <!--start_raw--> <!--end_raw--> tags and put it anywhere in your post.
5. Put all other options you need (set category etc) and publish your post.
